My name is Brandi Girley. I’m a Fall 2020 graduate of Arkansas Tech University. I obtained my bachelor’s in Vocal Music Education major, and was part of Tech’s choral ensemble, the Choral Artists. I’m excited to be in a wonderful school district where I will be able to teach and impact students positively through music!
My name is Morgan Vaughan (Coach Mo). I am new to Dwight and London Elementary Schools this year as the K-4 Physical Education teacher. I graduated from Arkansas Tech University and I am so lucky to continue calling Russellville my home. Some of my favorite activities are fishing, camping, watching superhero movies, and being outdoors doing just about anything. I am so excited to have this year with our students exploring lifetime fitness activities such as dancing, yoga, fishing, archery, and so much more!
My name is Shanna Woodruff, and I am so excited to teach your children this year! I graduated from Texas Christian University and have been teaching since 1981. I taught 11 years in Fort Worth, Texas before coming to Russellville, AR. I have taught fourteen years in first grade, eight as the science lab facilitator, and am now an Interventionist for Dwight. I love to listen to music and be outside in nature.
My name is Margie Huckabay. I have been teaching since 1999. I love my job teaching art to K-4 students at Dwight and London Elementary. My two year old granddaughter, Blakely loves to paint at my house. Art is a big part of my life and both of my daughters are creatives and enjoy making things. I have been married to the love of my life for thirty-two years. We enjoy traveling and seeing new things, the outdoors, and playing with Blakely.
My name is Renea Aden. I have been attending Liberty University Online for the past four years, working on my degree plan in Elementary Childhood Education. I am a mom of five girls and there is nothing more important than spending time with my family. I worked for a financial institution for thirteen years before I began working at Dwight. I am happy to have the opportunity to be a part of Dwight Elementary and the Russellville School District.
My name is Karen Hilburn. I have been the Reading Recovery Teacher at Dwight Elementary since 2009. Before that I was a Speech Therapist with the District for eighteen years. I am also certified to teach grades first through sixth.
Watching struggling readers and writers become independent readers and writers is very rewarding.
My name is Felicia Head. I graduated from UCA with my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology in 2016. I began my career at London Elementary and RJHS in 2016, and currently practice speech therapy for London Elementary and Dwight Elementary. When not in therapy sessions or holding conferences, I enjoy being outdoors with my husband, Tyler, and dog, Anndi. My passion for Speech-Language Pathology began in 2010 when I met a preschooler who stuttered, and I became consumed with learning and researching this vast profession. I believe communication is vital in our children's education, and I truly care about each student I encounter. As your speech-language pathologist, I strive to teach children to become effective communicators each and every day.
My name is Julieanne Hilton. I have been teaching since 2000. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership, and I am also a National Board Certified Teacher. I am certified to teach Pre-K through eighth grade, and I am currently pursuing a K-12th grade certification in ESL instruction. I am the Instructional Facilitator at Dwight. I enjoy spending time with my two children, playing the piano and violin, and reading in my spare time.
Hello! My name is Camron Cowell. I am excited to be a part of the Dwight family and getting the opportunity to work with your children. I graduated from the University of the Ozarks with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a minor in psychology in 2015. I have been with the district since 2015. I have taught first-grade, second-grade, and K-4 in the science lab. In my free time I enjoy watching TV, fishing, playing video games, playing music, and spending time with my wife and three children.
My name is Elizabeth Collins and I have been teaching since 2010. I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas and then received a Masters degree from Arkansas Tech. I taught for eight years at Oakland Heights Elementary before coming to Dwight. I am a self-proclaimed "Disney Fanatic" and love to travel with my family to Disney World. I enjoy reading and learning as much as I can about different languages.
My name is Luann Colling. I have been teaching since 1975. I have taught preschool, elementary and middle school classes. Currently I teach writing, reading and math to a variety of grades. My favorite subject is math. I have been married to my husband Bob for 33 years. We have lived in Arkansas, Texas and Mississippi. We have two children, Katherine and Spencer (Kaleena) and a grandbaby. I have a cute little dog named Tilly and 3 cats, Queso, Big and Chloe. My hobbies are gardening, and canning pickles, tomatoes and hot peppers.
My name is Leah Lemley. I began my teaching career in 2000. I am married to Nathan Lemley. We have twin boys who are freshmen in college and a son who is a sophomore in high school. Outside of school, I love to read, sing, play the piano, and spend time outside with family and friends.
My name is Clarrissa McCurrie and I have been teaching since 2012. I began my teaching career as a Resource teacher at Danville High School before coming to Dwight. I attended Arkansas Tech University and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. I am very excited to be teaching your children this year. I enjoy spending time with my family camping and fishing.
