🍕👩🍳 Discovery Kitchen Fun! 👨🍳🍕
Our 2nd grade students had an amazing opportunity to participate in Discovery Kitchen yesterday, where they got hands-on in the kitchen making their very own pizza with a cauliflower crust!
A big thank you to Chef Lundy with Chartwells for leading this fun and engaging experience. Students not only enjoyed creating their pizzas, but also learned about making healthier food choices in a fun and interactive way.
We love opportunities like this that bring learning to life—especially when food is involved! 😄🍽️

Today we are celebrating two very important members of our Dwight Elementary family who help keep everything running behind the scenes! ❤️🖤
💙 Mrs. Sam, our dedicated office secretary, keeps us stocked and organized by ordering supplies and making sure our office runs smoothly. She’s also the friendly voice answering the phone, directing calls where they need to go, and contacting parents for school-related events! She assists Mrs. Malin and all of our teachers to make sure they have what they need, when they need it. We couldn’t run efficiently without her!
💙 Ms. Renea, our Registrar and “all things needed” person, is the go-to for our families and staff. She works closely with parents, helps the staff in any way possible, handles car duty calling, organizes the Cyclone Store, and steps in wherever she’s needed!
We are so thankful for the hard work, teamwork, and care these two bring to Dwight Elementary each and every day. Our school truly couldn’t function without them!
